Our compensation model is performance-based and designed to grow with your career. We offer a five-level commission structure that rewards skill, clientele, and professional development at every stage.

The education you receive at Obsidian comes from someone actively working at the highest levels of the hair industry.

Obsidian is led by multi award-winning stylist Simon James, who regularly travels across North America presenting on stage, teaching at advanced academies in New York and Toronto, and coaching salons across the country.

The insights, inspiration, and education gained from these experiences are continually brought back to the salon to support the growth of the team.

This creates an environment where stylists stay inspired and connected to the wider industry.
